The Pastel Society of South Carolina, Inc. "PSSC" is a not-for-profit organization whose objectives are
- To promote public awareness of the pastel as a fine art medium
- To provide educational programs for its members and other interested parties and opportunities for them to exhibit their work
- To unite pastel artists in order to bring about recognition of their work
PSSC Meetings are held every other month from September through May unless circumstances dictate a cancellation or date change. For example, an art event, such as an art show reception or a plein air paint-out day, may take the place of a regular meeting. The Board will make every effort to notify the membership in the event of a meeting cancellation. Please see our Events page!
